Can I take my Hormone replacement therapy and anti allergy tablets right up to surgery time?
The day after the procedure you can resume all your medications.
During the procedure the anesthesiologist will protect you against any allergic reaction.

Would I have to sleep sitting up for 48 hours after surgery?
It is very important to not press on your cheeks immediately after the FAMI to assure the best symmetrical retention. If you don’t use to sleep on your back, sleeping half sitting is the best way to avoid any pressure on your face.

After the first 48 hours will I be allowed to eat and talk normally?
The first 48h are the more critical period for the graft retention.

Talking needs about 20 muscles of facial expression and eating around 30 muscles!
For best take you have to voluntarily lower the activity of your facial musculature.

How long before I can go out without a hat for protection?
If you live very near the sea you have to protect always your skin with sunscreen all your life when you go outside. Generally the patient mix it with their make up. Wearing a hat is a good additional measure.

How long before I can wash my hair, dye my hair or get rid of facial hair above my lip and eye brows?
A week before to have time for any incident to heal properly.

Do I need aftercare for the liposuction?
The day after you will be authorized to remove the dressing and you can shower your body except the head.
